I could be crazy here, but... Don't titans have jump PORTAL generators? Doesn't that mean that all ships in gang with them jump or somesuch? So, one Titan, and 40 freighters, jumping around 0.0 to move stuff up to empire...sounds pretty useful ...

Yes, it would scale for the number of ships in the gang. And it would run off insane amounts of cap, instead of the fuel used in POS'

Defenders are basically FoF missiles that only identify other missiles as Foes. So they would continue to be immune to ECM, as the ECM is directed towards the ship that launches them, and not the FoF module onboard the missile itself.
